Some of you may know that I work at the great work establishment of Dunkin’ Donuts, and right now Dunkin’ Donuts is having a peel and play sweepstakes game on their cups to get coupons. Now I was reading one, and I have noticed this on other fast-food restaurants kind of games, and it read “No purchase necessary”. Now I remember seeing this many times on the McDonalds Monopoly sweepstakes games, and it brought this question to mind. “So do I have to pay money to get this stuff?”
Obviously you do NOT. I curiously looked into it, and it is actually illegal for any company, or any organization, to have a sweepstakes where you are required to “pay to play”. So this means you can go into your nearest McDonalds and just ask for your no purchase necessary game form the next time the monopoly game comes up. I’m not sure whats deal with Dunkin’ Donuts, but if you want em’ for free just ask. If they don’t allow it just refer them to this law and the fine-point text saying “no purchase necessary”. I can just see the money being flushed down the toilet to get these stupid game sweepstakes lol.
This is one of the things I was referring to when I said I thought of stuff to blog about but then forgot later in the day. lol I just want to see people get some sweet justice!
