Ok totally forgot last night so I’m doing 3 tonight.
Verse: 11- end
Reflection: In these verses again Peter is talking to a crowd that appears from a miracle they perform. Peter says that it was not he who did the healing, but Jesus, the person you freaking crucified. And even set a criminal free instead. This is amazing because probably days before, peter is told by Jesus to go and spread the word about Him, and now you see him doing just that. The message is still the same for me and you, go and spread the word about God and His message, but with me and you we fall short where Peter is strong. I know I don’t go around shouting at people about God, and maybe I should.. Maybe we all should.
Prayer: God, give me the guts to live for you, and do what you want with me. Amen
I believe that when reading the Bible you can have fun and see some comedy in it.Tonight I did this.
In verses 42 through 47 this shows probably the very first church potluck dinner/church fundraiser sort of deal. It says
And all who believed were together and had all things in common. And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need…and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts…praising God and having favor with all the people.

Verse: 36
Let all the house of Israel therefore know for certain that God has made him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom you crucified
Reflection: This is peters response to the people who were making fun of people who were speaking in tounges, saying they were drunk. It was a stab to the hearts of these people. Peter gave all the emotion he could when trying to stand up for these people. And amazingly after this more than three thousand people got saved; just from what Peter said.
Prayer: God please let me have the passion and emotion that Peter shows here, let me stand up for you, let me defend you. Amen
So I took the commitment of going through Acts and blogging about it. So here we go!
Verse: 7+8
“He said to them, ‘It is not for you to know times or seasons that the Father has fixed by his own authority. But you will recieve power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.’”
Reflection: So in these two verses Jesus has just been asked by his disciples if He was going to restore His kingdom to Israel. And Jesus replies that it is not the kind of thing that we should know when will happen, but that we should be witnesses for Him to the ends of the earth. So this is a great verse to show that I should be more apt to go out of my comfort zone and talk to people about Christ.
Prayer: I pray that I become more courageous and comfortable to come out of my comfort zone when talking to anyone about God.
So my brother and I put our heads together and have started to design some shirts. I pretty much came up with the whole first one, but there will be more I’m sure….. I hope…… BUT the reason I’m blogging this is because, you know with the economy today things are very expensive, and this includes silk screen printing process.
So this is pretty much a sign up call asking if you guys want some limited edition shirts. The catch is that the more people who are willing to pay, the price will significantly decrease. Right now if we got ten people that paid, they would have to pay 15 dollars each… not bad.

So I just got back from vacation today from Rhode Island. It was fun. The sun was hot. The waves were big. And I got no sunburn, so check pluses all around lol.
Today my brother Stacey and I decided to go to starbucks and get some awesome, tasty, refreshing drinks. If you need to know I got what I always get; the Mint Chocolatey Chip Frappuchino…. You know what, I hate having to order this drink because I sound like a freakin’ idiot saying “I would like the mint chocolatey chip frappuchino. Its just the word chocolatey that makes me feel like i’m five lol… well back to the story…. We all decided that we wanted to play cards, so off stacey and donny go to buy some at walmart.
well later stacey is talking about how she hates her job (dunkin donuts) and how she wants a new one. Well not 10 minutes later she is being told that she should apply to starbucks by this guy who thinks she will g
et it. lol I was just amazed how one second she is complaining and the next second shes about to get a job. One word…. God.
Yes I know, everyone is posting about their crazy dreams and stuff, and not that I wanna prolong the agony of talking about dreams…. I had one lol. And I also had the immense wisdom of writing it down right when I woke up.
So I will copy it exactly as I wrote it…. for dramatic effect of course. Probably not as messy though lol
It started at my neighborhood but it wasn’t acting as my neighborhood but my job (Dunkin Donuts) but in this everyone that was working was standing in lines doing stuff. But we wouldn’t stay in the lines all the time, people would go do stuff and then go back in their place.My brother and I were working really hard, but there was this one guy who looked like he was working but he didn’t know what he was doing. He looked nervous, like someone might notice that he didn’t know what he was doing.
So later my manager Rachel was there and she was kinda yelling at me while we walked through this kind of forest. But there wasn’t any animals there, instead the animals were businessmen and women running in herds. they were all dressed up in suits. One herd even ran past us. So Rachel and I randomly came back to where we worked (my neighborhood), but work was ending and everyone was going home.
So I was all alone now and I spot that guy who didn’t know what he was doing. He sees me looking at him and gets scared and tries to hide from me by ducking and crawling behind people. I still see him and then I go up to him and ask him if he wants to go to my house with me. We get into my house (my room), and he instantly jumps into my bed and pulls the covers to his head like a little kid. I am now wearing like 5 layers of jackets, so I’m taking them off as i talk to him. It wasn’t even hot out. So I ask him how long he worked there and he said like 10 years. Then I asked him if him if he knew how to do anything at work and he says nope. Then I ask him if he wants me to teach him and he says sure. I was about to ask what he wanted to do when he was younger, but he gets kinda mad and doesn’t want me like being a phycologist to him. Then it ended.
HAHA No idea where all this came from. Sorry its so long.
I can see his face clear in my head, he had a big overbite and was really skinny and tall.
I guess I’m a bit like Sarette tonight, I guess not since its only 12:18 not 4 lol. Well I got out of work at 10 and went straight to Destinta movie theater to meet up with Donny Mere and Stacey to see Hancock. It was a awesome movie.
Basically, its about a guy named Hancock who has incredible strength, and to add on to it, he can fly. Sound a little like superman actually. Well he is a “lax”, alcoholic superhero, who saves who he wants to save, and does whatever the heck he wants to do. He later tries to turn a new leaf… blah blah blah ….Cool Movie, go see it!!
I think people will like this movie because everyone, including me lol, aspire and dream about being greater than they are right now. Probably why some guys get obsessed with going to the gym. Everyone dreams of having a cool superpower, I know I certainly have! If I could pick a superpower I would probably pick SuperStrength, or transportation abilities.
